Overview
Compact slit-lamp-coupled retinal photocoagulator at the 514 nm argon wavelength, up to 1.2 W, with micropulse mode.
The CLASSIC 514 is a diode-based retinal laser that reproduces the 514 nm wavelength of the original argon laser in a compact, low-maintenance device. Based on user feedback, A.R.C. Laser associates this wavelength with lower pain perception than KTP lasers. Precision optics and an offset coaxial laser coupling ensure controlled energy delivery.
Up to 1.2 W output, freely selectable spot sizes from 50 to 600 µm and single-pulse, gated and micropulse modes cover a wide range of retinal treatments. The laser sits on the table within easy reach, its large high-contrast display is readable from the side, and it combines with slit lamps offering LED or halogen illumination, as well as in the VARIO system.
