Overview
2.2 MHz radiofrequency surgery unit for ENT with monopolar cutting and coagulation and bipolar coagulation.
The ATMOS RS 221 brings precise radiofrequency cutting and adjustable coagulation to ENT procedures. Its operating frequency of 2.2 MHz concentrates energy locally, allowing fine incisions with minimal stress on adjacent tissue, less secondary bleeding and faster wound healing.
Three modes are available: Mono Cut for fine, tissue-sparing incisions, Mono Coag for haemostasis with ball electrodes and Bipol Coag for controlled tissue dehydration, for example of the nasal turbinates and soft palate. A wide range of electrodes, most of them reusable, covers different ENT applications.
