Overview
Tourniquet family for a bloodless surgical field on arms and legs, with touch-screen control and multiple safety functions.
These tourniquets create a relatively bloodless surgical field in arm and leg procedures and are also used for intravenous regional anaesthesia. Operation is through language-neutral symbols on a touch screen, with individual pressure and time settings.
Safety functions include a start-up self-test, automatic leakage handling, automatic pressure control and cuff pressure maintenance during a power loss. elsa and heidi have an integrated compressor; sophie uses a central gas supply of 4–6 bar. Matching single- or multi-use cuffs are available.
