Chronos

Villa's newest digital remote-controlled R/F system, combining fluoroscopy and radiography with a high level of automation. Winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2026. Chronos is a compact, fully integrated digital R/F system with isocentric tilting, an extra-large tabletop accessible from four sides and a low tabletop height for easy transfer from a stretcher. Its AIR (Anatomy on Image Receptor) mode moves the tube and detector beyond the tabletop, so direct and lateral exams can be performed on patients on stretchers or in wheelchairs, which suits trauma centres and multipurpose rooms. Applications include gastrointestinal, paediatric, orthopaedic and contrast studies, with optional DSA, tomosynthesis and automatic full-leg/full-spine stitching in upright and supine positions. A 12″ touchscreen console, a touchscreen collimator with joysticks, an automatic dual anti-scatter grid, virtual collimation and real-time DAP monitoring support workflow and dose control, while DICOM connects the system to HIS, RIS and PACS.
