Overview
Argon unit that docks with the ARC 400 or ARC 350 for contact-free argon plasma coagulation and argon-assisted cutting.
ARC PLUS turns the ARC 400 or ARC 350 into an argon workstation for argon plasma coagulation (APC) and argon-assisted electrosurgery. Ionised argon forms an electrical bridge to the tissue, allowing contact-free haemostasis on large bleeding surfaces such as the liver, and fine dosing on sensitive structures.
Modes cover open and laparoscopic surgery and gynaecology (Argon CUT and COAG) as well as internal medicine and gastroenterology with flexible probes (Argon FLEX and PULSED). Argon instruments are recognised automatically, and the unit holds two argon cylinders; a mobile ARC CART is available.
