Overview
Reusable laparoscopic bipolar coagulation instrument activated by a finger switch on the handle, without a foot pedal.
BOWA presents ERGOact as the first bipolar coagulation instrument with manual finger-switch activation. The surgeon activates it with the blue button on the handle instead of searching for a foot switch, which keeps attention on the operative field and allows an upright stance.
The shaft rotates 360°, and the instrument is reusable up to 50 times and simple to reprocess. As a COMFORT instrument it is recognised automatically by ARC generators. ERGOact is used in laparoscopic gynaecology, urology, general and bariatric surgery, with Maryland, Kelly, fenestrated and fenestrated Maryland jaws.
