Overview
Laparoscopic vessel-sealing instrument with a Maryland jaw that dissects, seals and cuts vessels up to 7 mm.
ERGOseal combines dissection, sealing and separation of tissue in one instrument, reducing intraoperative instrument changes, especially in laparoscopy. The Maryland jaw provides a 22 mm sealing length and a 20 mm cutting length, and its distal tip is shaped for blunt dissection and entry between tissue layers.
Separate triggers control sealing and cutting, the shaft rotates 360°, and the locking function can be switched on or off. Paired with the ARC 400 in ARCseal mode, ERGOseal is recognised automatically through the COMFORT system. It is offered as ERGOseal 230, 370 and 440 Maryland.
