ENT Workstation Price Guide: Configurations and Cost of Ownership

Updated 14 October 2026 · 4 min read

ENT workstation price varies widely because the same name covers anything from a compact economy unit to a fully equipped premium workstation with visualisation and diagnostics. This guide explains what drives the price of an ENT unit, how basic, endoscopy-ready and premium configurations differ, and how ENT clinics in the UAE should compare total cost of ownership. We do not publish prices here; quotations depend on the configuration you choose.

What drives ENT unit price

Five factors set the quotation: the base unit and its materials, the number and type of function modules, the light and visualisation options, the diagnostic package, and the service and training included. The base unit alone can differ greatly: a painted steel cabinet and a unit made of a solid surface material are different products in cost and in cleaning behaviour.

Each module adds cost and also capability. A clinic that does not use rhinomanometry, for instance, should not pay for a diagnostics package, while a clinic that does should specify it from the start, because retrofitting can be more expensive.

Basic configuration

A basic workstation covers the core functions: suction, medication sprayer, hose rinsing, ear irrigation and a light source. The ATMOS C 21 Economy / C 31 Economy belongs here. Its function column combines sprayer, hose rinsing, ear irrigation and suction with a reusable or disposable secretion canister system. Suction is 55 l/min at 2 bar pressure, there are two fibre-optic light cable connections and the weight is 128 kg.

Standard colours are offered with a choice of accent colours, and passively cooled, silent LED light modules are available. This configuration suits general ENT practices where the focus is examination, cleaning and simple treatment.

Endoscopy-ready configuration

Most modern ENT consulting needs endoscopy. An endoscopy-ready unit adds a camera, a monitor or a connection for one, a high-quality light source and often a documentation interface. The C 21 / C 31 can be configured with only the modules a department needs, including LED light sources, visualisation systems and an ENT diagnostics package for rhinomanometry, sonography, tympanometry and caloric testing.

Because video and diagnostics add the largest share of cost variation, specify exactly which devices must be integrated and which can stay separate on a trolley. Our ENT treatment unit guide describes each function in more detail.

Premium CORIAN configuration

The ATMOS S 61 CORIAN is built from CORIAN, a material with a nonporous surface that limits cross-contamination, with strict separation of clean and used instruments and handle-free drawers opened by the Servo-Drive system. Suction is 55 l/min at 2 bar, and the complete version weighs 300 kg. It is supplied in Glacier White, with other CORIAN colours available.

You pay for materials, hygiene design and modular flexibility. For clinics with high patient throughput, or those that emphasise infection control, the extra cost may be justified by easier cleaning, a more durable surface and a better impression on patients.

Total cost of ownership and used units

Compare over five years: purchase, installation, training, consumables such as canisters, filters and light modules, preventive maintenance and likely repairs. A cheaper unit with limited local service can cost more in downtime. Ask for spare-part availability in the UAE and the response time for service calls.

An ENT unit for sale on the second-hand market may look attractive, but check age, parts, registration documents and support before buying; see our note on a used ENT treatment unit. Confirm device registration with the relevant UAE authority (MOHAP federally; DHA and DOH license facilities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi), as requirements change.

Frequently asked questions

Do you publish ENT workstation prices?

No. Price depends on the configuration, so we prepare itemised quotations on request.

What makes one ENT unit cost more than another?

Materials, number of modules, light and video options, diagnostic packages and the service and training included.

Is the premium CORIAN unit worth it?

It suits clinics that prioritise easy cleaning, durability and infection control. Basic units suit simpler needs.

Can I start with a basic unit and expand later?

ATMOS units are modular, but plan the extension in advance to avoid costly retrofitting.
